Before when I’ve had the pleasure of taking photos of the Morse family, Kai has done a great job of running away from me. I love taking candid shots of the boys while chasing them around… and in fact, it’s one of my favorite parts of being a family photographer. Well, imagine my surprise when Kai is suddenly my best friend and cannot get enough of the camera! I mean, he was literally following me around saying, “take a picture of me doing this.” How cool is that?
Thanks for having so much fun taking photos, Kai. It really made my day!

Kailua Spring Mini Session: The Gibsons

These darling kids are way too cute, smile on demand and pose themselves too! Yes, they are for real. And they are the best little models! It was so great to see them play and have fun with each other…and the camera. I know very few 3 year olds who look perfect in every image…and love it. You can see more of the gorgeous Gibsons here.

While we were talking about how we could stage the setting for these spring photos, Jen had the cutest idea to make bright, whimsical carrots. She went home and made them in one night! I was so thrilled at how darling they turned out and everyone was excited to use them in their pictures.
