Soccer Season

For the little guys, the AYSO soccer season has come to an end. It was so much fun watching these kids grow as a team. I was amazed at the talent and drive that surfaced in those 7-year-old bodies! They inspire me!

Here are a few of my favorites from the Lightning Condors…

Belated Holiday

As I was looking through holiday photos of the past few months, I was thinking to myself, “I sure didn’t take many pictures of the family. Hmph.” Then I found a lone SD card sitting on my desk. It screamed, “look at me!” Sure enough, there they were. All of the pictures from Christmas!

So although a little late, I’m so happy to have found them, I wanted to post a belated holiday nugget.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Has it been one year already? It seems like only yesterday I was taking Avery’s newborn photos! I have absolutely loved watching this sweet girl grow up. I can’t tell you how happy I was to get a call for her three-month old photos…and now her one-year old pictures too!

Avery just gets cuter and cuter. What a fun, happy little girl!

…and Avery’s gorgeous older sister, who takes such good care of her!

See below to watch a short video of Avery and her siblings!

The Beautiful Berkeys: Kailua Family Photography

I love the HOLIDAYS! The tinsel, the trees, sparkling lights, gingerbread cookies…and Christmas cards!

I’ve pretty much lived and breathed taking so many family portraits this fall. And I have to say, it has been a blast! I really love seeing all the smiles, silliness and beauty that make up each family. For me, the experience lasts much more than an hour or two at the beach. I spend hours perfecting each image so I really get to know and fall in love with these photos. However, I hope the memories they capture last much longer for the family. Memories are the real treasure!

Sneek Peek: The Barkdull Family

“I’m going to marry Amelia. She has cute hands,” announces my 4 year old son after preschool. In fact, he regularly informs me that they are husband and wife. I can’t help but laugh.

These darling girls are so lively and fun! I couldn’t wait to post a little sneak peek.
