Kailua Baby Shower

She’s having a boy!
As our family gathered to celebrate the impending arrival of baby boy Stetson, we wanted to do something a little different. We chose Crepes No Ka ‘Oi, in Kailua, for the location of Deborah’s baby shower. We could not have picked a better place! They were so accommodating and their crepes were delicious! I think I could eat there every day. I’m a huge crepe fan.

Soccer Season

For the little guys, the AYSO soccer season has come to an end. It was so much fun watching these kids grow as a team. I was amazed at the talent and drive that surfaced in those 7-year-old bodies! They inspire me!

Here are a few of my favorites from the Lightning Condors…

Belated Holiday

As I was looking through holiday photos of the past few months, I was thinking to myself, “I sure didn’t take many pictures of the family. Hmph.” Then I found a lone SD card sitting on my desk. It screamed, “look at me!” Sure enough, there they were. All of the pictures from Christmas!

So although a little late, I’m so happy to have found them, I wanted to post a belated holiday nugget.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Kaneohe Bay: The Morse Family

Not even winter could bring down the sunny disposition of the Morse family. Running, smiles, laughter…those are the things that made this photo session unforgettable! I love when a family makes a point to just have fun together. Having your picture taken should be a seriously fun experience! And so it was.

A quick slideshow of our day together:

The wind was blowing strong.
The sand pelted our legs.
Dark clouds loomed overhead.
And the adventure began!

The kids found cool things in the sand, jumped in the water, flew with the wind and even got dad to spin them around and throw them up high. After our first stop, we headed over to the other side of the bay to North Beach. There we slid down big slabs of cement, climbed rocks, explored tide pools and caves. As the sun started to set, Dad led the kids on a hike up the mountain where the whole family enjoyed a gorgeous pink sky overlooking the ocean. It really was a perfect end to a great afternoon.

So whimsical and carefree! I love when a child gets excited to show off.

My Sweet Pepper

It’s rough being sick. It’s worse when your baby is sick and there’s not much you can do. This past week the whole family has been out with a sore throat and crazy congestion. We are all on the mend, but poor Pepper seems to have gotten the worst of it. Despite her cough, runny nose and constant teething, there is no shortage of smiles! I am incredibly blessed to have the happiest baby ever. I know what it’s like to have the opposite, so my gratitude runs pretty deep!

I thought I’d post a photo of my sweet Pepper feeling well. I am so in love with those squishy cheeks!
